Nicole Shell, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. Her commitment to psychiatry began during her years as a registered nurse, where she witnessed firsthand the profound impact mental health has on every aspect of a person’s life. Motivated by a desire to support individuals through their most challenging moments, she pursued advanced training as a PMHNP to provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and individualized treatment planning.
Nicole specializes in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and utilizes NeuroStar TMS—the first and only FDA-approved TMS therapy for adolescents with depression. This safe, non-invasive treatment offers renewed hope for teens and adults who have not experienced relief from traditional approaches. By integrating innovative treatments like NeuroStar TMS with evidence-based medication management, she develops personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs and goals.
With extensive experience in addiction treatment and co-occurring disorders, Nicole brings a holistic and trauma-informed perspective to her work. Her background allows her to provide comprehensive support to individuals navigating both mental health and substance use challenges.
As the Co-Founder of Restoring Minds Psychiatric Services, she is committed to expanding access to high-quality behavioral health care. Her mission is to cultivate a supportive, judgment-free environment where every patient feels respected, valued, and empowered on their journey toward healing and recovery.
